Hiking
Sugarloaf is one of four 4,000 foot peaks in the Carrabassett Valley region, and with plenty of gentle trails through the foothills, there's something for every hiker. Stop in to the Sugarloaf Outpost for information on specific routes.
Mountain Biking
Thanks to the efforts of the CRNEMBA and the town of Carrabassett Valley, mountain bike trail development has taken off in recent years, with a network of world-class cross-country trails, originating at the base of the mountain and spanning more than 80 miles throughout the valley.
Paddling
Spend a day at Sugarloaf exploring the sandy beaches and tiny islands of nearby Flagstaff Lake, just on the other side of the Bigelow Range. Rent a canoe, kayak (single or double), or stand-up paddleboard and get out on the water.
Ziplining
Experience the thrill of flying through the mountains! Sugarloaf zipline tours are wicked fun for the whole family; you'll love the thrill of reaching speeds of up to 25 mph. Groups of 12 leave every 90 minutes throughout the summer, weather permitting.
Anti-Gravity Complex
The Anti-Gravity Complex is Carrabassett Valley's home to indoor adventure. As Carrabassett Valley Academy's training center, the AGC is home to a skate park, giant trampolines, a climbing wall, basketball court, track, and gym.
