During the 2024 Christmas season, Ethan’s parents saw the beautiful Caroline Grace at the Abbotts’ neighborhood Christmas party. Without Ethan in attendance, his parents did something they’ve never done before…They asked the host and hostess who this stunning, tall, 20 something was. They shared her name and that she was single and just moved back home from Houston. Ethan’s parents replied that she needed to meet their son. The Grace and Rogers parents exchanged their favorite instagram posts of their children through the Abbotts (aka the matchmakers). Caroline was described as beautiful, faithful, and intelligent. Ethan was described as a talented actor who was not gay. Caroline was intrigued. Caroline agreed to go on a semi-blind date with Ethan to Carve Steakhouse, where they quickly learned that not only do their parents live 5 minutes apart, but they graduated from high schools across Southwest Parkway from each other, both in 2017. Ethan continued to pursue Caroline, and they eventually started dating in February 2025 when Caroline took her first trip to visit Ethan on tour with Back to the Future the Musical in San Francisco. This kickstarted the many quick visits home, fun weekend adventures, and exploring different parts of the country together (who knew Fayetteville was so great??). The soon to be Mr. And Mrs. Ethan and Caroline Rogers are forever grateful for God’s timing, Christmas parties, and the wonderful friends and family in their lives.
