Mother of the Bride

The woman to whom I owe everything is my mother. If you know my mom, you know she is an outstanding, strong, and inspirational woman. She indeed carries her heart on her sleeve. When she learned about my crush on Angel Javier as a kid, she would joke that Angel was her son-in-law. I guess the saying is true, "Mother knows best." Thank you for everything you do for me and those you love, and most importantly, thank you for showing me the values I live by every day.

Father of the Bride

The man who raised me to be a strong and independent woman and taught me how to live in the real world was my father. Without his strong father figure, I would have never made it as far as I have. In a sense, you can say we have the same character. At first impression, you would think that he is the most serious person, but in reality, he is kind, generous, and wise. Remembering when I tried to warn Angel Javier about my father not to be afraid, Angel Javier responded, "A man that has good intentions has nothing to hide or fear." From the first conversation Angel Javier and my father had, it was evident to my dad that Angel Javier and I were meant to be.
