Who says social media isn't romantic? Our story began with a simple message that turned into hours of conversation. While we had been dating for a bit, the night that truly defined 'us' happened at the waterfront. This is actually one of our favorite earliest memories when we started dating. Shortly after Don met my parents, we found ourselves caught in a literal downpour. We had just gone to Cookout to get milkshakes and then we rode to the waterfront to eat them. After we had finished eating our milkshakes, I decided to get out of the truck and started swiftly walking away while Don was yelling for me to get back in lol. Well if anyone knows me, you know I'm stubborn and hard-headed. I kept going, so Don didn't miss a beat before chasing after me. It's giving the Notebook, am I right? We've been running toward each other ever since. Fast forward to today, and the 'movie' just keeps getting better. We've traded the rainy waterfront for a life filled with LOTS of coffee, boat rides, road trips, different festivals, and so much more. We're counting down the days until we can finally say 'I do' and celebrate this journey with our favorite people. We can't wait to see you there!
