Though we met well before 2017, that was the year we truly found our way to each other. What began as easy conversations quickly turned into shared music, Vikings games, and a comfort we didn’t have to explain. Nothing big or dramatic, just a connection that kept growing. As we started dating, our relationship grew in the moments that didn’t seem big at the time: long drives where we talked about everything and nothing, quiet nights that became our favorite part of the week, and all the ordinary days that ended up meaning the most. We learned each other’s rhythms, supported each other through changes, and built something honest and steady, something that always felt like home. Looking back, it’s clear how naturally everything unfolded, exactly at the pace we needed. The same ease, joy, and steadiness we found in those early years continue to shape our relationship today.
