Michael and Grace met 2 years ago in Charlotte, NC through their very persistent friends, Brianne and Josh Binford, who were determined to set them up on a date. Weeks passed by as they tried to coordinate plans, while both Michael and Grace came up with excuse after excuse for putting off the awkward thought of a blind date. FINALLY, they both gave in to the idea and agreed on a brief and seemingly low-pressure brunch at the Binford household. A day that was expected to last a few hours suddenly turned into a 9-hour affair, much to the dismay of their respective friend groups who hadn’t heard from them in hours. As the day drew into the evening, the blind double date transitioned into an opportunity for Michael and Grace to get to know each other on a more personal note through continuous laughter and thoughtful, deep conversation. From there, the rest is history! A short week or so after the blind date, Michael and Grace became what our generation considers “Facebook Official” and have been completely in love and inseparable since. .
