Owen and Grace met in 2024 at their university's coffee shop. While Owen was working alone one night, Grace and her roommate walked in to order drinks. They ended up chatting and laughing until he had to close. Disappointed that she had to leave, Owen texted her later that night. They must have stayed up until 4 AM talking, exchanging some banter, and getting to know each other. As the following weeks went by, Owen and Grace both knew they had found someone special. Owen asked Grace to be his girlfriend on January 25, 2025. They learned each other's dreams, goals, ambitions, their likes and dislikes. When they both found out what fussy eaters they were, they knew they found the person to spend the rest of their lives with. After all of this time, Owen and Grace are now preparing for the start and best day of their lives, when they become The Barkers.
