We're getting married!!

Zach and Grace met only a few short days into their time as meteorology majors at Iowa State University. They both showed up to dinner at Friley Windows, a dining hall on campus, for dinner with a bunch of other meteorology majors all new to college and the ISU campus. Grace sat down at the table next to Zach and mistakenly believed he was someone else and they had already met and started talking with him like they were already good friends. Zach loved how outgoing and completely herself she was and how she was always trying to get everyone together to hang out. Zach was immediately interested in Grace but Grace had other plans. One of Grace's friends was interested in Zach so she texted with him a bunch to get to know him and try and set him up with her friend. Meanwhile, Zach was just happy to get to talk so much to the girl he liked. Zach and Grace quickly became best friends and would study together, watch shows, and always sit next to each other in the group settings. After a couple months of both being interested in each other and spending lots of time with each other, Zach and Grace spent a weekend at their friend Sam's for Halloween. After a seemingly romantic weekend, Zach prepared to ask Grace out in his dorm the night they returned from Minnesota. Grace left before he could ask and ended up saying the timing wasn't quite right. Each of them, trusting the Lord had better timing in mind, continued spending time together as friends and growing individually throughout their first year. When they went home for break they called each other every day. Zach officially asked Grace to be his girlfriend on February 12th 2021 and they went on their first official date on Valentines Day. It was a double date with some of their close friends and they went to Texas Roadhouse and bowling. Zach and Grace would help each other on all their assignments, they loved to watch sports together, and they were always each other's copilots on stormchases. They would spend as much time together during the school year as they could and the summers apart. Zach asked Grace to marry him on April 21st 2024 and then they got to walk across the stage together for graduation in May. Grace and Zach have moved and will be living in Lubbock, TX while Zach does grad school at Texas Tech University. Zach and Grace are so thankful for God bringing them together and continue to grow closer together as they grow closer to Christ.
