Please Join Us in the Celebration of Our Marriage

After clicking at a friend’s wedding, we had been chatting for a few months and developing feelings- but wanted to take things slow. One night, we went out with friends to dinner, and decided to stay behind to play a game of pool. A game of pool then turned into a walk at the local park. We ended up talking, sharing music, and telling stories of from our childhood for hours. We didn’t even notice how much time had passed! From that point on, we’ve had a beautiful relationship that has continued to grow :)

My family was in town, and after church we had decided to get lunch with Zach’s family. This is usual for when my family is in town- so I didn’t think anything of it. I drove with Zach to the little food / shop area where we were to meet, and my dad texts me that they’re waiting in a nearby park for us so we can all walk over together. When we caught up to our families, Zach took my hand and pulled me away from them and into a nearby rose garden, totally catching me off guard. He then knelt down, pulled a gum wrapper out of his pocket, and revealed the ring inside. Easiest yes ever!
