Things To Do

Boothbay is one of Maine's top summer destinations, we hope you take the time to explore! There's a footbridge right next to the Oceanside Golf Resort (10 min walk from SPI), that gives you direct access to the town.

Boothbay Lobster Wharf

97 Atlantic Ave, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538

The lobster wharf has great fresh local seafood and live music. This is a the perfect place to go for a casual meal on the water and is a 5 minute drive to SPI.

Waves Restaurant

43 Commercial Street, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538

Waves is a local breakfast spot in downtown Boothbay. We highly recommend the omlette and blueberry pancakes!

Harbor Treats

12 Bridge Street, Boothbay Harbor, ME 04538

Harbor Treats is great for breakfast sandwiches, lunch and most of all pastries. This is a must try if you are in town!

Whale Watch

Boothbay is known for it's whale watches so don't miss the opportunity to see a whale in it's natural habitat! Most cruises run for 3 to 4 hours.

Golf

If you are staying at the Boothbay Harbor Oceanside Golf Resort, the hotel will make a tee time for you at the Boothbay Harbor Country Club. If you are not a guest at the hotel, there are plenty of other golf courses in the area - Wawenock Golf Club, Bath Golf Club, The Links at Sebasco Harbor Resort.

Hiking and Walking

There are many hikes just outside of Boothbay Harbor, as well as walking trails right behind SPI. Check out the ocean point walk for stunning views of Maine's rocky coastline.
