Boothbay Lobster Wharf
The lobster wharf has great fresh local seafood and live music. This is a the perfect place to go for a casual meal on the water and is a 5 minute drive to SPI.
Waves Restaurant
Waves is a local breakfast spot in downtown Boothbay. We highly recommend the omlette and blueberry pancakes!
Harbor Treats
Harbor Treats is great for breakfast sandwiches, lunch and most of all pastries. This is a must try if you are in town!
Whale Watch
Boothbay is known for it's whale watches so don't miss the opportunity to see a whale in it's natural habitat! Most cruises run for 3 to 4 hours.
Golf
Unfortunately, the Boothbay Oceanside Inn is no longer affiliated with Boothbay Harbor Country Club so they cannot make tee times. However, there are plenty of other golf courses in the area - Wawenock Golf Club, Bath Golf Club, The Links at Sebasco Harbor Resort, and Brunswick Golf Club.
Hiking and Walking
There are many hikes just outside of Boothbay Harbor, as well as walking trails right behind SPI. Check out the ocean point walk for stunning views of Maine's rocky coastline.
