Getting to the Venue

The ceremony and reception are on an island accessible only by boat (or a long swim). A ferry boat will be leaving from Alexandria Bay at 2:45 sharp--don't miss it (seriously, please don't miss it)! It's only about a ten minute boat ride to the venue and it's a beautiful ride. The same boat will be heading back to Alex Bay after the reception, and a smaller boat will be on standby if anyone needs to leave earlier.

Other Hotel Options

Labor Day weekend is super busy in Alexandria Bay (more on that in the things to do page!), so please, please book as soon as you're able. There are several hotels within walking distance of the harbor (and the after party...), where the ferry will leave from--but because they're directly in town, they'll book up fast! Some in-town options outside of where our block is include: Riveredge Resort, Capt. Thompsons, the Ship Motel, Ottercreek Inn, and Edgewood Resort and Conference Center (not quite as walkable!).

Airbnb

Airbnb is also an option in the area, although there aren't a million, and again booking fast is key! There are a number of places in Alexandria Bay proper that will still be walkable to the harbor. Or, if you're feeling adventurous, you can rent your own island for the weekend. If you're interested in that route, check the next page for where to get a boat!
