Point Betsie is an absolutely beautiful lighthouse and beach on the shore of Lake Michigan. This is one of our favorite places to visit, and where we got engaged.

Point Betsie Lighthouse

Downtown Frankfort is a great small town located on the water. We recommend checking out Petals + Perks, Birch + Maple, Frankz, The Bookstore and the Frankfort Beach on Lake Michigan.

Frankfort

Glen Arbor is located about half an hour north of Frankfort, and is another favorite town of ours. While you're there, we recommend stopping by Anderson's Market (try the Point Betsie or Dune Climb sandwich!), the M22 store and driving a few minutes up the road to Glen Haven Village, a historic village that is a part of the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore. Crystal River Outfitters is a great option if you want to get outdoors and kayak the Crystal River.
