Grace was working the summer before her first year at Crown when she received a Facebook message. When she opened it she knew that it wasn't good. It was from this guy named Trent Smith, who sent her a typical man picture. Any guesses????? It was of him holding a Fish, captioning it "Lake Hog." We made small talk, but it wasn't until we were actually at college till we got close. We ended up being in each other's friend groups and became BFF'S. We had endless nights in the Libary talking about college and getting to know one another. Little did we know that it wouldn't be "Just friends."

Trent and Grace had booked their annual Florida trip to visit Grace's parents. Grace had a bit of suspition that Trent would pop the question on this trip. But Anthony changed her mind by saying, "Grace he doesnt have the ring and when would he have gotten it becuse he has been working". So Grace got MAD and cornered Trent, saying if you aren't doing it on this trip, then when will you do it. She was so mad that she almost didn't get her nails done if it wasn't for Julia pushing her to do it. So Trent and Grace took a flight together to Marco Island, FL. Trent was very weird about his dang black backpack because "I didnt want my wallet to get stollen." The second day we were in Florida, we went to the beach with Grace's dad. Little did Grace know that this was going to be the moment. Grace's dad left us alone on the beach to run errands, and not even 30 minutes later, Trent yelled at Grace, saying, look up because you know that Grace was sitting on her phone being a DJ. As Grace looked up, she thought it was a joke and that the ring had washed up because her dad was saying that the tides were crazy and things were washing up. Trent yelled at Grace again, saying, "just come here." This is the part where Trent popped the question and where Grace said yes. We had one of the best Florida trips of our lives and will always have our little love Island on Marco Beach.
