Jacksonville Zoo and Gardens
This zoo is huge. We go all the time. We are avid members and love to visit. The tiger exhibit is the best one I have ever seen. The tigers can walk above you! The zoo lines up to a scenic view of the St. Johns River.
Jacksonville Arboretum & Gardens
This is our favorite place to go to go walking outside. You will be surrounded by nature and it is completely free entry! They of course do appreciate any donations you can send their way :)
St. Augustine Alligator Farm Zoological Park
If you can't tell we love our animals. This is another great place to visit with your family. You can even see an albino alligator!
St. Augustine Biplane Rides
This was sooo much fun! We loved seeing the historical light house and the Castillo de San Marcos fort from aerial views. Also, this is a local business that we love to support!
Cummer Museum of Art & Gardens
This is a great museum full of beautiful views!
Jacksonville Beach
We have amazing beaches! You can go to Jacksonville beach, Neptune beach, Atlantic beach (our favorite), Ponte Vedra beach. There are so many choices.
St Johns Town Center
For those of you that like to shop and eat this outdoor mall is giant and has it all!
St. Augustine Outlets
If you want all the best brands for the best prices this is the place to fill your shopping bug!
Prohibition Kitchen
This is our favorite 1920's themed speak-easy restaurant to visit in St. Augustine. There is live music most nights!
The Melting Pot
I can't leave out our favorite fine dining restaurant that we go to for every birthday and anniversary. We have the most fun here. If you call ahead and want a nice romantic evening ask to sit in Lovers Lane. Table 14 is my recommended table (I used to work there, so say "Hi!" to the owner Mike for me if you visit!) Oh and Ikea is across the street!
