Who knew a mutual appreciation for the 90's television sitcom "Saved By The Bell" could lead to love?!? Tharanga and Grace first met on a dating app where they bonded over their mutual love of 90's television shows. The conversation went so well, they decided to meet up at Dave & Busters for a FRIENDLY competition of arcade games and shooting hoops. They managed to come away with a very classy coffee mug. The rest is history! They managed to conquer the 120+ miles that separated them and their impossibly busy schedules and are now looking forward to geeking out over almost EVERYTHING together.

It's a seagull, it's a sea lion, no...it's a RING! When a global Pandemic prevented Grace and Tharanga from going on a much anticipated vacation to Thailand in March 2020, they made the most of their time off by going for a road trip up to Napa and then down along the scenic California Coastline. When Tharanga kept pulling to the side of the road to enjoy the views along Highway 1, Grace just thought he appreciated the gorgeous views and wanted to bask in nature. It only took Tharanga three tries before Grace clued into what was going on. Despite multiple obstacles thrown his way, Tharanga persevered and finally managed to get that "YES!" from Grace between her tears, giggles, and uncontrollable interjections of "wait, what?!?"

When a global pandemic hits, we learn to adapt rather than delay our lives. Due to the current pandemic situation, we have chosen to prioritize the safety of all our loved ones. We wish we could celebrate in person with everyone, but we also realize the seriousness of the moment and want everyone to stay safe and healthy. So, we will be having an extremely small wedding bordering on elopement. Once we're through this pandemic, we look forward to celebrating with all of you at a larger reception with good food, highlights from our semi-elopment, and the best company we could ask for!
