I’ve known Kael was going to be my best man years before I knew the beautiful woman who I am getting married to. Kael is my cousin and also my best friend. We share some of our earliest memories together. Whether it was trying to make it big on YouTube, making spy movies, or making mountain biking trails for hours on end, Kael was always the one I was doing it with. Now, Kael is going to be by my side on one of the best days of my life.

My dad has truly shown me what it is to feel safe, prioritized, and loved in this life. He is the first man who ever loved me. One of my favorite memories was when I was eight years-old, my dad took me on my first daddy-daughter date to see the new live-action Cinderella movie. I put on my nicest dress and even a little of my mom’s blush. He made me feel like the most special girl in the world that day, and he has continued to do the same every day since. God knew what He was doing when He gave me such a patient and gentle dad. It has been a dream of mine to have him walk me down the aisle, and I am counting down the days until that moment comes.

My Dad has been there throughout my whole life, shaping me into the man I am today. Ultimately, the man he has shaped me into is the perfect man for Grace. Throughout my entire life my dad raised me on three words, always be “Strong, Smart, and Polite,” no matter the situation. He has been there during my highs and lows, showing me how to be a better man, not just through his words but through his actions. I love you Dad.
