Megan met Grace when she was 9, almost 10, the day Grace was born. She clearly remembers her dad finding her in the waiting room and proudly announcing that she had a little sister. The moment Megan held Grace’s tiny little hand that early morning is a memory imprinted in her mind forever. Despite their sizeable age gap, Grace and Megan are not only siblings, but trusted confidantes and best friends. Megan is so excited to stand next to Grace for her big day and witness the start of a partnership 10 years in the making.

Nicholas Zimmerman

Best Man

Nick became Stephen's built-in best friend when he was born only 11 months after Stephen! They've gone through everything together, from kindergarten to USC. Nick looks forward to standing next to his brother in support of him when he marries the love of his life and embarks on an adventure filled with love and happiness.

Becca Gee

Grace and Becca have known each other since first grade. They spent elementary, middle, high school, and college hanging out. Since then, they have continued to go on fun adventures and grow up together! Becca got married earlier this year, and she and Grace loved being engaged and sharing their wedding plans together!

Brent Knight

Stephen and Brent went to grade school together and became instant friends. They kept in touch over the years through Boy Scouts and eventually continued being best friends in High School at Loyola. Stephen has brought so much joy and laughter into Brent's life, and he is forever grateful to have him as a friend. Brent can’t wait to be a part of such an important achievement for them. Stephen couldn’t have found a better match in Grace and it is so exciting to welcome her into their circle. Brent is most excited to hit the dance floor with them (hopefully to some Taylor Swift).

Grace and Bridget met at the tender age of 7 at St. Michael’s School. They bonded over a love of musicals and later developed a love for all things millennial fandoms, whether it be the Harry Potter or Twilight series. Bridget is most excited to see the happy couple’s first dance! 🕺💃🏻🪩

Christine Nguyen

Grace and Christine met on move-in day of their freshman year at USC. The two quickly bonded over their shared music and movie taste as well as a similar sense of humor. Determined to make the most out of college, they auditioned for both acapella and dance. While both teams passed up the opportunity to have two superstars on their team, Grace and Christine instead filled their college days with late-night food adventures, TV binge sessions, and One Direction karaoke (also Stephen was there!).  Christine is looking forward to celebrating the next chapter in Stephen and Grace’s life and dancing the night away.

George Stearn

Stephen and George met in the midst of the pandemic, when George began dating Stephen's older sister Christine. Although he lives far away, that didn't stop them from bonding over mutual hobbies of PC building, gaming, and Demon Slayer. Stephen is so excited to be attending George and Christine's wedding in July and he can't wait to welcome George into the family as his brother in law!

It is no exaggeration to say that Katelyn has known Stephen since day one. As his younger cousin, she has looked up to him and had him as a best friend quite literally her whole life. After meeting Grace, she knew that Stephen had found just the right person. Now, Katelyn enjoys hanging out with her ~ two ~ best friends, and can’t wait for a lifetime of third wheeling! Katelyn is most excited to celebrate Stephen and Grace! She has been looking forward to their big day for many years, and is eagerly counting down until it is time! She is, of course, also looking forward to getting down to some Taylor Swift on the dance floor. Nothing less will suffice for this bride and groom.

Linda and Grace met freshman year at USC living across the hall from each other in their dorm! It was fate, because they proceeded to live together every year after that for the rest of undergrad. Linda can’t wait to stand beside Grace on her wedding day, and dance together to Taylor Swift on the reception dance floor!

McKay Hartwell

Stephen and McKay met in a high school physics class freshman year, though they didn’t really become close until the end of that year. They stayed close throughout high school and college and still hang out virtually on an almost weekly basis. During summer school after their freshman year, Stephen once got a nose bleed and sneezed next to McKay, absolutely drenching him in blood, so it’s a miracle they are still friends. McKay is most excited to see his friend FINALLY tie the knot with someone who brings him so much joy. He can’t wait to be a part of the celebration of them as a couple and their love story! He's also really excited about the venue cause it looks GORGEOUS!

Michael Alvord

Michael is Grace's favorite brother! They met when Grace went with her parents and sister to Russia to adopt Michael in December of 2001. Michael is so excited to be there when his best friend marries her amazing fiancé.

Paulina Velasquez

Grace and Paulina met in 4th grade (5th grade, if you ask her) and they became fast friends. Since then, Paulina has had the incredible privilege of growing up with Grace and being Grace's friend. She is really stoked to see Grace get married to someone as kind, smart, and lovely as her. Paulina wishes them nothing but years of happiness!!

Chelsea Montgomery

As Stevie’s older cousin, Chelsea has known the groom for his whole life! She has fond childhood memories of cousin sleepovers, making embarrassing short films, and getting ice cream after school at Thrifty’s. Chelsea met Grace almost a decade ago when Stevie brought her to a large family gathering. Though the “Fernandez Mafia” can sometimes be intimidating, Grace fit right in and has been part of the family since. Chelsea is thrilled for Grace’s place in our family to be made official on their big day! Being an officiant to the sweetest couple is one of the biggest honors of Chelsea’s life. She was absolutely blown away when she was asked to be part of their special day. She is most looking forward to having a front row seat as Stevie and Grace take the next step in their happily ever after. This is a day long-awaited, and she is thrilled for this chapter in their love story.

Harper Aaron

Harper has known Grace since she was born in July of 2020. Grace has always shown Harper the ropes, from introducing her to her first ice cream to showing her the sites of DC. Harper loves her Auntie Grace and wishes they could be together always. Harper is excited to be the flower girl, but also to get lots of candy at the Halloween wedding!
