We're getting married!

Many of you have been there since the beginning and have shared in the joy of Stephen and Grace’s relationship, which began in the early summer of 2018. Stephen and Grace met when their mutual friend, Thomas, invited them both to a night out for his birthday. As the night went on, Stephen and Grace discovered many of their common interests including a love for the outdoors, hiking, music, and even the same profession. Stephen, just completing his first year as a registered nurse, and Grace, in her last year of nursing school, had even attended the same nursing school without ever crossing paths until now. A week after their meeting they decided to go on their first date to Door County, during the walks along Lake Michigan and over a few sips of wine they both bonded over their common interests and sense of humor, and the rest is history.

During the next 3 years, Grace and Stephen explored their love for traveling and camping through many cross country road trips with friends and family. Through the years, the couple had been coast to coast in their travels and this love of travel led them to decide to leave their jobs together and become traveling nurses. In May 2021, the couple took their first travel nurse contract and moved across the country to Washington together. During a family trip back home in June, the couple spent a week at the Apostle Island lakeshore with family. On the last night of the trip, Grace and Stephen were enjoying the sunset on the beach when Stephen got down on one knee and asked Grace to marry him, and of course she said yes! Stephen and Grace are so grateful to all of you who have shared in their story, and can't wait to celebrate their marriage with you!
