A special place among Ryan and I's story. It is where we had our first date, Ryan's proposal, our engagement shoot, and many outings in between!
The Dune Peninsula Park features views of marine life (orcas are known to make appearances), Vashon Island, and the expansive Puget Sound. We'd recommend grabbing an ice cream cone at Ice Cream Social (nearby at Point Ruston) and taking in the scenes of the Ruston Waterfront! Fun fact: The park is named after Frank Herbert's novel "Dune". Frank Herbert was born in Tacoma!
A Saturday morning staple! Some of our favorite vendors: Selva Central Goods, Trini Plate, and Midsommar Bakery among many others!
A place that brings us immediate joy, Ice Cream Social offers an instant boost of happiness! From it's quality, thoughtful flavors, and light and bright setting, a waffle cone from Ice Cream Social is one of our favorite treats!
Our most frequented pizza joint in Tacoma! Their pies are massive and the crust is legit (sourdough).
One of our go-to places for a tasty drink or bite. This casual yet elevated bar is perfect for a weeknight or weekend alike!
A stunning view of Tacoma, Narrows Brewing sits along the water with an epic view of the Tacoma Narrows Bridge. Highly recommend on a summer day! Note: Narrows Brewing does not allow minors.
