While we love your little ones, this is a kid-free wedding weekend. Due to the all-inclusive nature of this entire wedding weekend and the remote location of all venues, we are unable to accommodate children or babysitters for all events. We hope you understand, as this decision was not made lightly. Please reach out to us with any questions about this policy.
Everyone listed on your invitation is invited to the wedding weekend. Due to the limited number of cabins, specific cabin arrangements, and the fact that food, beverages, and activities are directly tied to your accommodations, there will be no additional plus ones invited. Only the people listed on the invitations are invited with no exceptions. The venue is very strict on total occupancy and all beds have been accounted for in our invitations, so BCR will be forced to turn away any uninvited guests.
We are excited to host as many of our favorite people as possible. Because of this, cabin arrangements are subject to change as each RSVP is received. This ensures everyone gets the best possible arrangement! Please note that all of the accommodations offered are truly wonderful. If you have any specific accommodation concerns (e.g. accessibility issues), please reach out to us.
Please check the weather closer to the wedding weekend. For Saratoga in May, the high should be around 70 F with a low of 38 F at night. There is always a possibility of rain and even some snow, so please pack accordingly.
Please see our "Weekend Schedule" page for wedding weekend attire! Otherwise, sunscreen and hats/sun protection, jacket/shawl for colder nights, heeled slip-on boots (no zippers) if horseback riding, comfortable shoes (we suggest block heels or flats for the ceremony which is on grass).
Brush Creek Ranch sits at around 7,500 ft elevation. It is in Medicine Bow-Routt National Forest so some of your activities could be at higher elevation (e.g. hiking). For those of you not accustomed to altitude, here are some helpful tips! ● It may take your body a second to acclimate to the higher elevation. Be on the watch for signs of altitude sickness: headache, fatigue, nausea, shortness of breath, elevated heart rate. ● Drink plenty of water throughout the day (twice as much as usual). ● Alcohol at altitude can intensify the effects of alcohol therefore increasing dehydration, decreasing your normal alcohol tolerance, and heightening your susceptibility to altitude sickness. Please be mindful of this and drink plenty of water when you drink alcohol.
