A hidden gem in Buffalo! This is the sixth-oldest public art institution in the U.S. and home to works by Claude Monet, Vincent van Gogh, Frida Kahlo, and Pablo Picasso! General admission to the museum is around $22, and free general admission is granted to active-duty U.S. Armed Services personnel and their families. Reduced rates apply for seniors and veterans.
If you've never seen Niagara Falls, this is a must! For those who are feeling adventurous, we recommend the Maid of the Mist boat tour, which provides a close up view of the falls. For those less adventurous, we recommend the Observation Tower, which provides a beautiful view of the falls and elevator access to the base of the gorge.
This is for all the history buffs (like RJ)! See where Theodore Roosevelt took the Presidential Oath of Office after the assassination of President William McKinley in 1901. General admission is around $12, with reduced rates for seniors and veterans. The National Park pass is also accepted for general admission.
Nestled in the Village of Williamsville, this picturesque park is known for its waterfall and walking paths. It's within walking distance of many restaurants and shops located along Main Street and provides a bit of peace and quiet among the hustle and bustle. This is where we got engaged and it's right around the corner from one of our favorite spots to grab a craft beer, Moor Pat!
If you're looking for Buffalo's best wings, Bar-Bill Tavern is not only #1 in our book, but in Josh Allen's book as well! Go Bills! Our favorite wing sauces are "medium hot" and "cajun-honey butter bbq." We also highly recommend the "Bar-Bill style" pizza logs. Please note the restaurant does not accept reservations and due to it being a fan favorite there is often a 30-40 minute wait.
This is one of our favorite restaurants! We recommend a cocktail or beer flight on the patio! Their wood fired pizzas and large salads are great for sharing; the portions are generous.
RationAles has live music on Thursdays and Saturdays, which makes it popular among locals! Their wraps, paninis, and sandwiches are excellent for a quick bite to eat!
This cozy, dive bar is where we had our first date and where we celebrated after getting engaged in Glen Park! They have a ton of beers on tap and are always playing good tunes!
