We were in Oregon on a little getaway trip. We were having the best time and when the third day rolled around, we went to dinner to celebrate our anniversary. Riley was adamant about going to the jetty on the beach before to see the sunset. We get there, it's freezing, and we walk all the way to the end of the jetty. We were hugging and all of a sudden I hear "Grace MaKenzee Sawyer, I love you so much," I turned around to see him on one knee, tears filling both our eyes', he says "will you marry me?". My first response being "What are you doing?!", I get down to his level, we are hugging and crying, I hadn't even said yes yet. Riley asked again and finally, I said yes, he put the ring on my finger, and we went to dinner as fiancé and fiancée.
