Our wedding ceremony/reception at the Barnes is black tie. The ceremony is partially outside, so please dress accordingly. The welcome party is formal/cocktail—please see the ‘Schedule’ page for a link to the Union League’s dress code.
We have arranged a number of hotel blocks for our guests, and additional details can be found on our ‘Travel’ page.
The Barnes will open at 6:00 PM. Please arrive and be seated so we can begin the ceremony by 6:15.
Most of the hotels are within walking distance from the Barnes. If you plan to self-drive, there is complimentary parking available. Our Ceremony will take place on the West Terrace of The Barnes. Please use 375 N 21st Street for this entrance. If you plan on arriving via Uber or RideShare, this is the address to use for your drop off. For those who are self driving and parking, the address is 2020 Pennsylvania Avenue. Parking is complimentary and onsite Museum staff will direct you to our Ceremony space. All entrances, as well as the building, are ADA accessible.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an invite-only event. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
