We grew up 1 mile from each other, went to the same elementary school, and became best friends in high school. We started dating in the spring of Grace's freshman year (Paul's sophomore year) at the University of Wisconsin-Madison after we finally realized that maaaaaybe we weren't 'just friends.' We love to explore life side by side, whether it’s trying out new restaurants, learning new board/card/yard games, or snuggling with our dog, The Duchess Pappardelle of Noodle aka Poppy. Our love of travel has taken us from Montana, to Portland, to Tampa, and even across the ocean to France, Italy, Exuma, New Zealand, Australia, and Spain (where we got engaged). But no matter where we go, our hearts always lead us back to our favorite place in the world: The Allen Family Cabin. The Allen cabin has been a cherished place in Grace’s family for over 75 years. Growing up, Grace spent countless summers there with her cousins, swimming, fighting over card games, and hunting for salamanders. It’s her most beloved place on earth and she is so lucky that Paul loves it just as much as she does. It felt like fate when she learned that Paul's mom grew up just 20 minutes from her cabin in rural Wisconsin. We are beyond excited to bring all of our favorite people to our favorite place and celebrate our love together!
