Visit the famous spot where Noah and Grace got engaged! We have spent many days enjoying the waterfalls, hikes, and restaurants of Moss Rock Preserve. If you're looking for a fun and outdoorsy activity, Moss Rock is the place for you!
Birmingham Zoo
We always enjoy a summer day at the zoo with our families. This is perfect if you are looking for a family friendly activity. We definitely recommend walking through the butterfly exhibit and feeding a giraffe!
Pepper Place
During the spring and summer, we frequently visit the Pepper Place farmers market on Saturday mornings. We recommend trying the salsa booth and grabbing a cold Piper & Leaf sweet tea while browsing through the market. We always have a jam or jelly on hand from Henke Farms!
Birmingham Botanical Gardens
Going on a stroll through the botanical gardens is one of our favorite afternoon activities during the spring and summer. The Japanese garden and lily garden are definitely our favorites!
Bettola
Bettola is Grace's favorite Birmingham restaurant and perfect for a date night downtown. The burrata and bucatini carbonara are a must-try! Splitting a bottle of wine is never a bad idea either!
Jack Brown's Beer & Burger Joint Birmingham
Jack Brown's is Noah's Birmingham restaurant recommendation. Perfect for a casual dinner over beer and burgers. Don't forget to order the fried oreos before you leave!
