This story begins what feels like a lifetime ago on the first day of high school for two young kids. Grace was new to the township and was attending school in the Radnor school system for the first time. She didn't know anybody when she stepped on the school bus that first morning. As luck would have it, Nik would get on the same bus shortly after! Nik recalls that Grace wore a pair of brown cowboy boots and had shoulder length blonde hair. He introduced himself and insisted that they should be friends because Grace was new. They exchanged AIM screen names and chatted sometimes online. And though their romantic relationship never caught any traction back in high school, it was when they ran into each other on Grace's 22nd birthday that they exchanged phone numbers this time. It was still weird timing though, Grace was still living in California and Nik was still at Penn State. Almost another year later, they kept running into each other at bars in Philadelphia after Grace had moved back. They finally had their first date in September of 2013. The rest has been the most beautiful beginning to what we can all hope is a long and happy life together!
