Myra is Grace’s Maid of Honor and younger sister. Myra is funny, strong willed, and Grace’s confidant. Grace and Myra talk on the phone at least once a week and have grown very close as adults. Grace and Matt always get a good laugh when they reminisce on Myra's excellent conversion skills.
Ben Cabangun
Best Man
Ben is Matt’s older brother, and his best man. They are three years apart, and were close growing up due to the large gap between their two older sisters. Ben is passionate about his work and was always a role model to Matt. Matt and Grace think Ben’s passion is influential and his advice is always wise and helpful in their life. Matt’s favorite memory of Ben is when they were kids and he introduced Jack in the Box tacos to him. They would eat them for breakfast on early morning road trips while watching the sun rise.
Michelle Nassal

Michelle is Grace’s cousin and childhood best friend. Grace and Matt admire how Michelle is intelligent, productive, and very family oriented. Grace’s favorite memory with Michelle is all the family trips they would go on. It was the long road trips that made the trips memorable more than the destination. Because of these road trips they’ve learned to rely on GPS and to never take “shortcuts”.
Peter Wininger
Best Man
Peter is Matt’s best friend for over 10 years, and is also his best man. They have been a part of each other's life milestones, and although life gets busy, they make it a point to make sure monthly happy hours happen. Peter is an amazing father, and has an outgoing and contagious personality. Matt and Grace think Peter is personable, and always enjoy spending time with him. Peter was the first person Matt told about his interests in Grace. Matt’s favorite memory of Peter is when they were in their 20s and their Friday nights consisted of working out, eating salads, and hitting the clubs.
Marjorie Jennings

Marjorie is Grace’s cousin and Grace’s first drinking partner. Marjorie is athletic, energetic, and adventurous. Grace and Matt enjoy hanging out with Marjorie because she makes them laugh and has great taste in beer. Grace admires how Marjorie maintains a good life balance between work and play.
Veejay Atilano

Veejay is Matt’s best friend, and also known as his pinsan among their friends because their families are from the same city in the Philippines. Veejay is authentic and centered. He is confident in what he wants in life, and never fails to be the life of the party. Matt and Grace believe Veejay is a heart to heart specialist, and they consider Veejay a lifelong friend. Matt’s favorite memory of Veejay is when they lived in San Francisco, and Matt would trick him to watch horror movies. Veejay would be so scared after, and ask to sleep on Matt’s couch.
Marissa Reza-Pham

Marissa and Grace have been best friends since high school. Grace and Matt love how Marissa is kind, trustworthy, and attentive. Marissa and Grace have so much in common like their love for Hello Kitty, all things Kawaii, and exploring all the afternoon tea spots in Southern California! Grace loves how Marissa and her can pick up conversation easily after not seeing each other for some time. They’re friendship is one of a kind and will be a lifelong one, VG forever!

Matt Reynera (M.R.) is Matt’s best friend, and they are often referred to as "The Matts". M.R. has known both Matt and Grace since grade school when all three were members of the Filipino Catholic Community Youth Group. M.R. is free spirited and spontaneous. M.R. loves to go on road trips, skateboard, and seek adventures. Matt and Grace love how intuitive M.R. is, and Matt always feels like he can confide in M.R. without a doubt. Matt’s favorite memory of M.R. is when they would spend late nights drinking beer and eating his amazing cooking, specifically M.R.'s burritos!
Fritzi Wininger

Fritzi and Grace met through Matt over 9 years ago and is one of Grace’s best friends. Grace and Matt love how Fritzi is smart, responsible, and practical. They have celebrated their life’s big milestones together and even started a New Year’s Countdown tradition. Every time they get together the goal is to always beat the boys!
Scott Chromy

Chromy is Matt’s best friend from College. Chromy was an athletic training student intern with Matt at SDSU, where they both worked with the football team. Chromy is smart, and is now an officer in the marines. Matt and Grace admire his mature and reserved personality, but always know he is full of surprises. Matt’s favorite memory is from their fully expensed trip to Las Vegas to work the Las Vegas Bowl game with the SDSU football team. They spent the entire trip hardly working and playing hard.. Or was it working hard, and hardly playing???
Anna Johnson

Grace and Anna met through Fritzi over 9 years ago and is one of Grace’s best friends. Grace and Matt admire how Anna is caring, personable, and authentic. Fun fact it was through Anna’s graduation party where Matt and Grace’s relationship began! Grace’s favorite memory with Anna is ditching the Charger’s 5k run to get a head start on day drinking.
Scott Johnson

Scott is Matt’s best friend, and his workout buddy. Matt met Scott through his high school friend, Anna. Scott is the first and longest friend from Matt’s community of San Diego friends. Scott is always funny, a joy to be around, and brings out the OG in Matt. Matt and Grace love how he is always caring, and puts others before himself. Matt’s favorite memory of Scott is how they always made it a point to check out the nightlife in every new neighborhood that Matt moved to, and how Scott christened each one of those apartments.
