It's incredible what life can bring you. Two years ago, it just so happened that life brought us together. We met at a wedding in Spokane, Washington. Grace was the maid of honor and Matt was the best man. While we were there during the days prior to the wedding, doing our "duties", we left quite the impression on one another. That being said, we were both dating other people and didn't cross any boundaries. The day after the wedding, guests gathered for a final send off brunch. We hugged one last time. That's what we thought anyway. After some love notes were sent and poetry was read, Matt was on his way to Iowa to convince Grace that they should be together. Two months later, we moved to Clovis, California. In October of 2020 we began walking across America. On October 24th, on the side of the interstate outside of Aguila, Arizona Matt got down on one knee and asked Grace to marry him. She said yes and sealed it with a high five. Don't worry, Matt pulled her in for a kiss. A year and a half later we finished our Walk Across America. Now we have purchased a school bus and we will be traveling to all 50 states together.
