Question

When should I RSVP?

Answer

We ask that you RSVP as soon as you can so we can organize with our vendors. However, the deadline is June 26th, 2025. If you have not RSVP'd by this date we will have to count you as a 'no'.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We are trying to keep this as an intimate event, we are only able to accommodate guests formally invited. If you have received a plus one then they will appear when you RSVP on the website. Additional guests will invited to join the after party!

What time does the ceremony begin?

Answer

The ceremony will begin at 3:30pm. Please arrive by 3:00pm, if you are late you will not be able to join the ceremony and will have to wait until the cocktail hour. Please count for your travel times when planning.

What can I wear?

Answer

The wedding day dress code is Garden Cocktail, think elegant yet garden-friendly! For women, light dresses in bright pastels or florals with flats or wedges/block heels. The grass may be soft so choose your footwear accordingly. For men, lightweight suits in soft tones, optional ties, and dress shoes. NO jeans!

Can I take photos?

Answer

We would love for our guests to be fully present when we say 'I do', so during the ceremony we ask no phones or cameras. Please leave ceremony photography to the hired professional (we will of course share all images once we have received them). You can take as many photos as you like of the rest of the celebrations!

Is the wedding outdoors?

Answer

Our wedding will take place completely outdoors by the beautiful Saugeen River. A large tent will be set up to keep everyone comfortable as we celebrate surrounded by nature. Please dress accordingly.

Where will I park?

Answer

Parking is available for everyone on the Lorenz property! The Ceremony, Reception and Afterparty will all take place a short walk from your vehicle.

Do you need a hotel room?

Answer

If you’re travelling from out of town and need a local hotel room, we’re happy to help! There are several great accommodations nearby, and we can assist you in finding a comfortable place to stay. Please let us know as soon as possible if you’ll need a room, and we’ll provide recommendations or help with arrangements to ensure your stay is as stress-free as possible
