Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

Please RSVP by June 2nd, 2025.

Question

How do I get to the cocktail hour + reception?

Answer

Guests who are staying at the resort should follow the electronic signs from the main entrance through the Lake Lawn Resort halls or ask in the main lobby for directions to the Geneva Ballroom. Guests who are driving should park to the left of the main entrance and enter through the "Conference Center" doors facing the parking lot.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. Dress code is formal attire, but feel free to have fun with it by wearing bright, or pastel whimsical summer colors. No jeans please!

Question

Are kids welcome?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to enjoy this evening as a date night.

Question

What time should I arrive for your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 2:00pm. Please arrive no later than 1:45pm to ensure everyone is seated in time. Please note, the ceremony will be a full Catholic Nuptial Mass presided by Father Ed Shea.

Question

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes! Please indicate any allergies or special dietary considerations when you RSVP.

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

There will be a shuttle service to and from the Comfort Suites. More details to come!

Question

Are there ride share services in the area?

Answer

Uber and Lyft do run in the area but they are not always reliable. Please plan to utilize our shuttle service or carpool as needed.

Question

Why did the welcome party venue space change?

Answer

In order to best accommodate for our guests, we decided to move the Friday night welcome party from downtown Delavan to Lake Lawn Resort, in the Wisconsin Room. There is a large community event that will be using most of the public parking spaces in downtown Delavan on Friday night. All are welcome! If you are in town, please plan to come out and get the weekend started with us!

Question

Special Thanks

Answer

Special thanks to Fr. Ed Shea for celebrating our mass, and thank you to our parents Rick & Julie and Eric & Cindy for all of your love and support over the years. We couldn’t have done it without you!

For all the days along the way
