This trail is paved and stretches for more than 100 miles. Perfect for a run, bike ride, roller blading, or a walk! You can rent bikes at Up North Bike Rentals in downtown Nisswa and hop on the trail from there.
A lovely short hike that mixes marsh and woods, just off the main road.

With a playground, swimming area, and other outdoor activities, this is a perfect spot for family fun and an easy drive from the Baxter hotel area.
Hike, paddle, and bird your way through this expansive state park! There's prairie, pine, and hardwood forests for a little bit of everything.
It's a drive but Deep Portage has miles of deep woods hikes. We went birding here with friends and saw TWO different types of bluebirds. That's a big deal!
