If you don’t want to stay in the middle of the city, Aksdal is also an option 15 minutes from the venue, but public transport will likely be less accessible from there. Most hotels in Haugesund are going to be close to each other some other options that might be worth checking out are: Radisson, Maritim, Thon Hotell, and Banken

Flight

Bergen, Stavanger or Haugesund International Airport

There are three airports that are in a proximity of Haugesund which is where most of you will be staying. Karmøy lufthavn (Haugesund): The closest airport, a little smaller so pricier but only 15 minute drive to Haugesund city center. A great option to fly is to fly to Oslo and then to Haugesund! This is a very direct route. The airport bus has been shutdown but the city is reachable through regular bus or taxi. Sola lufthavn (Stavanger): Bigger airport on the south side of Boknafjorden. This is a 2 hour drive to Haugesund. Public transport you can get to Haugesund through the airport bus to downtown Stavanger. From there Flixbus or Kystbussen can be taken to Haugesund. Both have to be ordered ahead online, we will attach a link to these bus options. Bergen. The train is also available and cheaper. From there Flixbus or Kystbussen can be taken to Haugesund. Both have to be ordered ahead online.
