Shelter Island is located on the eastern end of Long Island, nestled between the North and South Forks. It is accessible only by a 5-10 minute car/passenger ferry which run from Greenport (North Ferry) and Sag Harbor (South Ferry). The ferries are cash only and cost $18 for cars (one-way) and $3 for foot passengers. No need for reservations and the ferries run very frequently! For guests who are driving, please note that the North Ferry stops running at 12:45am, and the South Ferry at 1:45am!
