FAQs

The Wedding Website of Grace Hinckley and Joseph Ryan
Question

When and where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony will take place at 5:15 pm at Calvary United Methodist Church, on August 15th, 2026. Our reception will be at the Grand Hall at The Priory, with cocktail hour starting at 6:00 pm. It is a 7-minute drive between locations.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Dress to impress! Our wedding is formal or black tie optional. Formal dress code for women includes floor length or tea-length gowns. For men this includes tuxedos and formal suits (please no jeans).

Question

When is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

Please kindly RSVP by July 15th. After this date, you will automatically be marked as "Not Attending." We will miss celebrating with you, but we must provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given us.

Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive no later than 4:45 pm to find parking and a seat. Once the ceremony begins, entrance will not be granted until the ceremony is completed. We would hate for you to miss it!

Question

Where can I park upon arrival?

Answer

For our ceremony, there are several parking lots surrounding the church, as well as on-street parking. Complimentary valet parking is available at The Priory for the reception.

Question

Where can I find accommodation options for out-of-town guests?

Answer

We have reserved all 42 rooms at the Priory Hotel. For more information on how to book your reservation through our hotel room block, please visit the "Travel" section of our website. We have also included other recommendations for nearby hotels.

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We can only accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one, they will appear on your invite and under your name when you RSVP online. Thank you for understanding!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding ceremony and reception adult-only events. We appreciate you making arrangements in advance.

Question

Will there be a bar?

Answer

Yes! There will be an open bar for cocktail hour, as well as during the reception. Wine service will also be available for all guests during dinner. We recommend bringing your ID, as the venue reserves the right to deny service to anyone who looks under 21 years of age.
