*Technically* we first met in Ms. Marino's 5th grade class at Wantagh Elementary School. We each claim to have had a crush on one another all those years ago, but fast forward 12 years and we were finally ready to go on our first date.

Montauk holds a very special place in both of our hearts. We made the trip up to Montauk under the guise of my 27th birthday and Jimmy's Montauk Extravaganza. I didn't think it was suspicious when many of our friends and family made the trip out for the weekend. Somehow Jimmy finagled getting me alone for a sunset walk on the beach. When he got down on one knee I was utterly shocked and said "YES!" before he could even finish his sentence. I couldn't stop smiling for the rest of the evening as we celebrated the engagement with our family and friends.
