The day after Valentine’s day Grace and a friend went to a local bands concert together at Crusen’s on war. The friend was meeting a boy and Grace didn’t want the friend to be alone, so Grace went with her. The boy Grace’s friend was meeting introduced all of his friends to the girls. One boy in particular was extra interested in meeting Grace. His name was Jake. He shook Grace’s hand and helped her jump over a bucket of beer to stand next to him. Usually Grace would’ve either done it without his help or just walked around but she felt drawn to let him help her. Unfortunately Grace being clumsy she accidentally stepped on Jake’s foot. He laughed it off because he was wearing steel toe boots. They all had a good night listening to the music. Jake drank enough Busch light to get the courage to ask Grace for her Snapchat. She gave him her Snapchat, but little did Jake know he would soon be ghosted by Grace because she was not looking for a relationship. Soon enough Jake would continue to send Grace pictures of his fresh haircut or just ask how her day was going enough times for her to cave in. Jakes persistence, smile, and his big heart won Grace’s heart over and 6 years later they are finally getting married.
