Grace and Isaiah both attended Veritas Classical Academy for the 2013-2014 school year. Grace was in 6th grade, and Isaiah was in 7th. Their first interaction is undocumented and not remembered by anybody except God. Isaiah had a crush on Grace that year. Grace did not have a crush on Isaiah that year. Isaiah remembers talking to Grace. Grace does not remember ever talking to Isaiah. After that year, Isaiah switched to a different school, and the two lost contact for the next 12 years. In 2025, Grace visited Isaiah's church, Cornerstone Bible Church, with her family. Isaiah and Grace talked after service, catching up about life and chatting about fly fishing, one of Grace's hobbies. After a month or two of texting about faith, books, and fishing, Isaiah asked Grace to get coffee. Badabing, badaboom, he asked her to marry him, and she said yes!
