Are children / teens invited?

Answer

Our wedding is going to be an adults only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the children / teens at home so you can celebrate with us.

Is it okay to take pictures with our phones and cameras during the wedding?

Answer

Yes! However, please refrain from taking photos during the ceremony. We also have an amazing photographer who we are confident will be capturing our best moments! Also, we kindly ask that during mass you remember to silence your cell phone.

Can I walk from St. Patrick's to the NYAC?

Answer

If it is a nice day, it is about a 20 minute walk from the Cathedral to the NYAC. Uber, Lift, Taxis are readily available.

What is the weather likely to be in NYC in June?

Answer

June has long days and pleasant weather. During the day on average it reaches 79F (26C) and at night it drops to 64 (18F) on average.

What happens after the ceremony at St. Patrick's?

Answer

After the ceremony, the wedding party will be taking pictures at Central Park for around one hour. Guests can arrive at the reception starting at 6:30pm.

When is the RSVP deadline?

May 24th. Please RSVP using the response card that was sent with our wedding invitation.

Can I RSVP on-line or do I have to mail in an ‘RSVP’ card?

We request that you mail back your response that was part of your wedding invitation.

What type of food will be served at the wedding?

Answer

We will be serving hours d’oeuvres at cocktail hour followed by a sit down dinner with a choice of either filet mignon or Chilean sea bass. A menu card will be at your place setting at the reception.

Yes, there will be an open bar throughout cocktail hour and the reception.

Where should we bring / send a wedding gift?

Answer

Your presence at our wedding is your greatest gift. If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to 957 Ivycroft Road, Wayne, PA 19087. A wedding card box will be at our reception.

Is there anything we should know about mass at St. Patrick’s Cathedral?

Answer

Yes; Mass will begin promptly at 4:00pm. Please plan to arrive at 3:45pm or earlier.

Yes, of course you can post to your social media accounts.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

A shuttle will be available for guests staying at the NYAC to take guests to St. Patrick's cathedral (details on departure time and location will be found in your welcome packet when arriving at the NYAC). Limousines are available after mass to shuttle wedding guests to hotels (or other destinations) as mass ends at 5:00pm and cocktail hour begins at 6:30pm. Transportation will also be provided from 11:00pm to midnight for guests departing the reception.
