Wedding Party

Meet the Bridesmaids and Groomsmen that are a treasured part of our lives and will be standing beside us on the big day!

Clara Goins

Bridesmaid

I met Clara at the beginning of college when I started attending Venture Church- the place where she faithfully works everyday! She quickly became one of my dearest friends & sisters in Christ. She sharpens me & refreshes my soul. It is an honor to have her stand beside me... and for me to stand beside her in her wedding (only two weeks after mine). What a blessing it is to share this season of life with her!

Eden Gibson

Bridesmaid

Eden and I met on the first day of freshman year in chemistry class! What started out as a shared passion for running and good food turned into a beautiful friendship that I cherish everyday! I have the joy of rooming with her and her cute bunny, Luna, this year. We have shared countless adventures together and I look forward to sharing many more. I love you, E!

Annaleise Cooke

Bridesmaid

Annaleise is an answered prayer for sisterhood during my high school years! We connected in our senior year and have had the blessing of doing life together ever since. She is a well of wisdom, encouragement, and joy (and a GREAT coffee date)! I am grateful to have my fav person from Wilmington join me on the big day!

Tori Teague

Bridesmaid

Funny enough, Tori and I met in a bathroom during our freshman year of college (it's one of my favorite stories to tell)! She is the most fun and adventurous girl I know. Right now she is in Europe for a semester abroad. Tori bubbles over with encouragement, guidance, and laughter. I cannot imagine this season of life without her!

Jillian VandeBunte

Bridesmaid

Jillian and I met during my short time in Air Force ROTC and we are currently tackling nursing school together. We connected instantly and never fail to have a good time together! I love her sensitivity to spiritual things, her dedication to the path before her, and the way she can light up a room. I am very grateful for her friendship!

Caleb Hay

Groomsman

Caleb & I go way back. Honestly not sure if there's a day in my life I can remeber without him! There's some days I wish I could - but I guess that's what having a tough, fun loving, memory making, older brother does to you. This picture was from last September where I got to stand next to him and welcome his beautiful bride (Jen!) into our family! Glad to have you along my side now Caleb!

David Postlethwait

Best Man

Despite us not being blood, this guy is undoubtedly a brother! David knew me as a camper at Camp Sonrise Mtn, tutored me through Calculus, and now is one of my closest brothers in Christ. Over the past 3 years I've had him along my side in our various endevors at camp, building communities, and discipling others. David & I have seen each other through various seasons, high & lows - because I knew you David, I have been changed for good. ;)

James Warren

Groomsman

Never a dull moment with this guy! I met James at a campus ministry during my time at Charlotte and discovered he was also studying mechanical engineering. Despite both of our overwhelming academic schedules, his company always makes life a joy. From serenading me during our study sessions, to boot stomping at Coyote Joes, he's kept things lively for sure! Watch out for this guy's entrance a the reception - and pray he doesn't break his foot... again!

Nathan Deitz

Groomsman

I haven’t known Nathan nearly as long as the rest of my groomsman, but I’m honored to soon call him family. Always down for an adventure or a laugh, you’ll usually find Nathan where the group is gathered. Although Grace definitely has the “big sis” mentality, you’ll usually find me silently laughing at his behavior (even when Grace isn’t)! From getting us all lost on four wheelers deep in WV, to late night conversations around scripture - I’ve enjoyed adding yet another brother to my posse.

Colt Swan

Groomsman

Colt, David, & I make up a dynamic trio that no one thought could exist. When together there's guranteed to be some laughs and stories. Like David, Colt is a brother in Christ. I first met Colt while serving on staff at camp Sonrise. Since then I've been privledged to watch him disciple other young men and lead in his relationship with Emma! Similar to Grace with Clara, I'm happy to be going thru this season with a brother who's encountering the same challenges and joys! Although Colt is always down for a competition, a laugh, or poking fun - he's never affraid to share the truth when its needed.
