Our Story
Grace and Evan first crossed paths in the 7th-grade science class, led by the unforgettable Mr. Wilson at Donnell Middle School. Little did they know, their story would take a romantic turn eight years later. The spark reignited when they bumped into each other at their local YMCA gym. Evan reached out to Grace, striking up conversations and doing his best to make her laugh. Evan eventually asked her on a gym date, and Grace said yes. During that first workout together, they discovered how much they had in common and began building something special. A couple months later Evan asked Grace to be his girlfriend, she promptly said yes.
Fast forward to March of 2024, Evan left for the United States Army to begin his career as a 25B. In the summer of 2024, Grace got to visit Evan at Fort Eisenhower, where they enjoyed bowling, and taking hikes. During Thanksgiving Break Evan then popped the question! (The attached picture was the hug that reunited Grace and Evan after 10 weeks of BMT!)
