We spent four years at Lancaster Bible College walking the same campus, attending the same chapels, and somehow never really crossing paths. It wasn’t until after graduation—when our mutual friend group started planning casual get-togethers—that we finally began spending time together. As we hung out more, we got to know each other in a deeper way. Somewhere along the way, Dylan finally told me how he felt. From there, we started going on what we called “friend dates”—though looking back, we weren’t fooling anyone. Three months later, he officially asked me to be his girlfriend, and we’ve been growing together ever since. At the heart of our relationship is a shared love for each other, but even more than that, a deep love for Jesus. He’s the one who brought us together and remains the center of everything we do.
