How we met: We started off as class mates, junior year, in history. What started off as classroom acquaintances; would soon turn into the start of something neither of us expect. I got Grace's number from one of her friends. He started to text me later that night while I was at one of my friends. We started talking for a little bit. Then, one day I left flowers in Grace's math class. I got to my class and I could not believe that Doug had left flowers. I left school that day with the biggest smile I had ever had. From that day on we have been together since and everyday our love grows more and more.

On our anniversary Doug took me to go see the Toledo Zoo Lights with my Sister and her boyfriend Chad. He took me into our favorite exhibit in the zoo, the Aquarium, where we always take a picture in front of every year when we see the lights together. That’s when he got down on one knee and asked me to be his wife. I was so happy and without hesitation I said “YES” best day of my life. Right after we say I Do.
