What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We will start promptly at 2pm. (You need to be in your seat before 2pm.)

How long will the ceremony be?

Answer

1 hour. Please note that cocktail hour does not start until 4pm. In the time between the ceremony and cocktail hour, we suggest you check into the hotel, buy yourself a drink at Proudfoot & Bird, window shop in East Village, or just drive around Des Moines.

Is there transportation to and from the hotel and ceremony?

Answer

Unfortunately no. Guests will need to arrange their own, safe, transportation.

I have a special diet, can I make a meal request?

Answer

Please reach out to Grace or David and we will see what we can do. We want everyone to enjoy our reception and a meal is part of that.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Semi-formal. Tuxes, suits, gowns and cocktail dresses are welcome. Do not wear white or off-white unless it is a dress shirt. Ask Grace or David if you have any questions.

Will there be an open bar?

Answer

Yes. It will have beer, wine, signature cocktails, nonalcoholic options, and soft drinks.
