Grace and Dave met through an online dating app, Bumble, where Grace made the first move. She was drawn to Dave's bio, which described a love for math and coffee. They met at Around Coffee Shop in Arlington Heights, shared math jokes, and as they say, the rest is history!

Dave takes Grace to Coopers Hawk in Arlington Heights, a favorite spot of theirs. As they enjoy a wine tasting, Dave asks their server, “any chance of popping some champagne?” The server looks confused and says no. Dave replies, “well then I guess I have to pop the question.” Dave proposes and Grace says yes! They meet their families at a restaurant to celebrate.
