How to Get Here
Mackinac Island is a small island located in Michigan’s Lake Huron between the upper and lower peninsulas. You must take a ferry to get here. Below are the two ferry company’s that currently service the island. Please note their different schedules based on whether you are traveling from Mackinaw City or St Ignace, the date and time of day. PLEASE NOTE our reception will end AFTER the last ferry has left for the day. If you plan to stay for the entire reception you must arrange overnight accommodations on the island. If you have questions about accommodations, please reach out to us! We would love to assist you. Rooms on the island book up quickly so please book ahead.

Taxi
Horse drawn taxi service is available 24 hours a day by calling (906) 847-3323. Please call and book ahead as wait times can be unpredictable. The cost from downtown to Stonecliffe is $11 per person cash and takes approximately 45 minutes.

The Inn at Stonecliffe
Both our ceremony and reception will take place on the beautiful property of the Inn at Stonecliffe, located approximately 2 miles from downtown, up and into the interior of the island. Please feel free to arrive early to relax on the porch, explore the grounds or grab a drink at the bar. Check out their website for additional info about this historic property.

The Inn at Stonecliffe Shuttle
The Stonecliffe Shuttle runs between the Inn at Stonecliffe and the Shepler’s ferry dock, located downtown. It leaves every hour on the hour from the dock and hotel between 9am and 8pm. The shuttle is first come first served with priority given to registered guests of the Inn so please plan to arrive early. The cost is $11 per person cash. It is approximately a 45 minute ride from downtown to the Inn at Stonecliffe.
