Dog Tag runs a nonprofit fellowship program for post-9/11 veterans with service-connected disabilities, as well as for military spouses and caregivers. This is a great spot to grab coffee and a bite while shopping or touring in the heart of Georgetown.
This is one of Grace's favorite spots in Georgetown. Originally a private estate, sixteen acres were transferred to Harvard University in 1940 to establish a research institute for the history of gardens and landscape architecture. The gardens are impeccably designed and kept, and can be toured between the hours of 2-6pm for $7. Online reservations are required.
