Other Accommodation Options
There are plenty of other hotels on Jekyll Island for those wanting to explore other hotel options (i.e. The Westin, Hampton Inn, etc). There are also additional hotels and Airbnbs on Saint Simons Island, which is a 30 minute drive from the wedding hotel/event space.
Flight
Recommended Airports
For our loved ones traveling in from out of state, we recommend flying into Jacksonville Airport (1 hour from Jekyll Island), Savannah Airport (1.5 hours from Jekyll Island), or Brunswick (30 min from Jekyll Island).
Rental Car
Getting to Jekyll Island Club from the Airport
We recommend arranging a scheduled car/shuttle service, or renting a car, as it can be tricky to call an Uber from the airport (though not impossible!) due to the $10 fee to get onto the island. Jekyll Island is very small, so unless you are planning day trips to Savannah or Saint Simons, you should be able to get around easily without a rental car if you prefer a car service/uber.

Parking
As mentioned above, there is a $10 fee per car to get onto Jekyll Island. Because of this “toll” all parking on the island is free (including at the hotel). Yay!
