How do I get from the PVR Airport to Sayulita?

Taxi Taking a cab from the airport is easy, fast, and reasonably priced. Car Service Prearranging a car service can be a good option for those who would like to do a grocery shopping trip along the way or who are traveling in groups. How Big Is Sayulita?

Sayulita is a very small town. No matter where you stay - you'll never be more than a 10-15 minute walk to anywhere else in town.

Do I Need to Convert US Dollars to Pesos Before Arriving?
Answer
You are going to want to carry and pay for most things with Pesos. It is the easiest option. Credit Cards are accepted at some places but others are Cash Only. You can convert cash to Pesos ahead of time if you'd like- but we find the easiest option is to just use the ATM's in town like you would anywhere else. The ATM fee is minimal and you don't have to worry about conversion fee's somewhere else.

How should I get around Sayulita?
Answer
Sayulita is a small town, so it's very walkable, but it has a lot of cobblestone and uneven streets. We recommend renting a golf cart which is the most common way of getting around. Should I rent a car?
Answer
Renting a car is not necessary. Taxi's are safe and reliable mode of transportation getting from the airport to Sayulita. If your house rental is on a hill (should be noted in the housing description) you may want to highly consider renting a golf cart.
