Better Together

"Chad and I started chatting on Bumble and talked about D&D, our cats, and life. After a couple weeks of chatting, we met for the first time at a Mexican restaurant in Shelbyville, Kentucky half way between our homes. Chad was late because he forgot to put gas in his car and very apologetic. Conversation was easy from the start. Chad felt like an old friend I had known my whole life. I remember driving home how it felt easy being together. Four years later, it still feels easy with Chad. When life gets hard, he is there with a goofball comment, a crisp Diet Coke and a hug.
