Grace's version of how she met Brian: "Brian and I first met during an unofficial triple date in 2019 with Brian's brothers Travis, his then-girlfriend Kayla, Tyler and his then-girlfriend Shirley (my sister!) to a bowling alley in Omaha. I *vividly* remember trying to converse with Brian, but only recieving one word answers... When Brian was at the table, I remember texting Shirley saying "I don't think he wants to talk to me, I'm ready to leave" lol. In 2020, I planned a long weekend trip for Tyler, Shirley and I to go hiking and relax at Estes Park, CO. I think I started planning for the trip in May for the trip to be in late July. I organized the total costs, lodging, food, potential hiking spots, etc. 5 days before the trip, Tyler told me "Hey, so to reduce the total cost for everyone, my brother Brian wants to join us for the trip." And I said to Shirley "You already know the not-so-great first impression of Brian... I'd rather not have Brian go with us..." But, nonetheless, Brian ended up joining us! We shared a backseat of a car the whole 9hrs, and had a great time! I remember Brian laughing at my jokes (which, I know i'm funny, but not THAT funny...), having the same sense of humor, kind, and up for anything! On the last night, we stayed up until 4am doing Buzzfeed quizzes of "What TV character you'd be" and whatnot, and we decided to watch the sunrise a few hours later! It was so fun! You won't believe it... But I made a vlog of the entire trip... Ask about it later ;) Some fun facts about Grace and Brian: - Brian is the youngest of ten siblings. - Grace's favorite animal is a cat. More specifically orange tabby cats. She's slightly obsessed with them. - Brian was homeschooled from K-12th grade. - Grace has lived in New Hampshire, Iowa, Illinois and Nebraska. - Brian's favorite meal is pancakes, bacon, and eggs. - Grace once had a pet bunny named Courage who she loved dearly. - Both Brian and Grace have two middle names. - Brian's favorite sport is basketball and his favorite NBA team is the Phoenix Suns. - Grace currently works as a website designer in Fremont, NE. - Brian has lived in Omaha his entire life. - Grace's favorite states are Colorado and Florida. - Brian's favorite film franchise is the Lord of the Rings. - Grace loves to go thrifting. - Brian's dream trip would be to visit New Zealand. - Grace competed in javelin, discus and shotput while at college. - Brian works as a painter for Jacob's Ladder here in Omaha.. his co-workers are pretty stinking cool people. - Grace once went on a mission trip to Madagascar for 3+ weeks.
